Today was a bit of a rainy morning. We had plans to get motorbikes and explore with our slow boat group. We didn’t start until the afternoon when the skies cleared and ended up giving us a nice day. We had our original slow boat group minus Greg plus one extra and headed out to our first stop which was some natural hot springs. They were really nice, and it was not that crowded. The water was not too hot or too cold and we enjoyed hanging out. After that, we went to the “Chinese Village”. It used to be a Chinese settlement but now it is just a tourist attraction. The coolest thing there was probably this big swing.

After the Chinese village, the group split up and four of us went to the canyon for sunset. I really liked the canyon the first time we went, and I was happy to go back.

After the sun had set we went back to town and to the night market for dinner. Tonight, Brendan and I of course got gyozas and I had a veggie burrito. This was the first food item here I was disappointed in. I guess I will just have to wait until I get home to have a really good burrito. Brendan got some chicken skewers. We ended with these little mini coconut pancakes that our friend Nitay turned us onto, and they were really delicious.
