After a really hot night in the bungalow without AC we got up and went to find a different accommodation. We got a smoothie and some breakfast and found a resort just a couple hundred feet down the beach that had AC and a pool which is what I was looking for. This was $29 a night which I think is the most we have paid in Asia. I was excited about the location of the room as it was literally the first one next to the beach and the pool.

We got checked in and went to the dive shop. Brendan has decided to go ahead and get his rescue dive certification. I’m going to sit this one out. I have already spent enough money learning how to rescue people and probably need to get home and start actually doing it, before I spend more $$ on education. So, to be conscious of our budget Brendan is going to do the training and I’ll just do a couple boat dives tomorrow. I think it is great that he is doing it, and always believe the more knowledge the better!
He started the CPR and first aid part of the course today, and I took the opportunity to go to the pool. Once I came back to the room, the smell it had was really terrible. Not sure if it is mold or sewage but definitely smells very unhealthy. I noticed it when we first dropped our bags in there but was hoping it was just the wind or something because I really liked this spot and didn’t want to move again. After spending a little time in the room, I realized It wasn’t going to go away and we’ll need to find something else tomorrow. My week of staying put is quickly turning into moving every day ☹
Oh my goodness I am sorry sorry about the smells which identify something worse!! I am especially sensitive to smells these day so I totally empathsize.!
