Today we woke up and spent the morning hanging out and watching all the fish swim around the house.
A free water taxi is offered to go to town every day at 11am and return at 2pm. We took the taxi into town and explored some more and got some pizza to bring back to the house. Mike’s childhood friend, Tony, lives in Bocas del Toro and has a dive shop (Panama Dive School) that we were going to use to get our scuba certificates. Mike is already certified so Brendan, Kellee, and I got the books and DVDs we needed to do the classroom work before we could get in the water. We made arrangements to spend Monday and Tuesday at the dive shop studying and doing our open water dives. This evening the three of us watched the videos and worked on the assignments. We watched the videos until we couldn’t stay awake anymore and went to bed excited for the next day and our first scuba dive!
