So the night in the tent was a bit rough. We kept the rain fly on the tent as we didn’t want the cats peeing on the inner part where we could smell it all night. This meant there was no air movement and it was HOT and MUGGY. We also had to keep ALL our stuff inside the tent with us because of the cats peeing so it was cramped and totally hot. I don’t think any of us slept more than a couple hours at best. But we woke up in paradise without a thing to do or a job to go to so we were still feeling really good. We showered and got ready for our next day of exploring. We headed back to the split where we found a nice place to relax and hang out on a dock. There were also tables and bar stools in the water which was a fun place to sit.

I found a lady on the beach who would braid my hair. We all took a little ride in a golf cart (there are no cars on the island) to a store where I could buy my hair extensions. Once we got to the chairs that the lady was doing my hair in Taylor and Brendan went to the inner tube bar that was right behind me. They had over the water hammocks, swings, and innertubes that you could float in with your bucket of beer floating next to you. Took about 3.5 hours to braid my hair and I got to hear all the drama that goes on between the girls on the island who braid hair. It was a bit uncomfortable as my lady was pretty fired up about the situation but I just sat quietly and listened.

We went back to Pause and watched the sunset from the dock before going back out to town wanting another fabulous lobster dinner. We figured we could splurge on dinner since we got such a low priced camping spot. Dissapointingly lobster season had closed a day or two before and the restaurants were all out. Thankful we got it the night before B and I tried a $2.50 burrito from a little stand and ate it on the beach. Also craving some “American snacks” we got a sprite and some pringles from the local store. We made our way back to camp and left the rain fly partly off in attempt to get some circulating air through the tent and had a better night sleep since we could feel a little of the breeze. This was the day we all got the most sunburned and had very tender shoulders.
