We woke up and checked out of the Funky Dodo. We hit up our favorite Hopkins food cart which was tacos (3 for .50 cents). Our first day we started off with ordering 3 but ended up going right back for 3 more. They were not big but fresh homemade tortillas made them awesome. Our last day we ordered 9 before getting on the bus. It was a pretty short bus ride to Placencia (maybe 1 to 1.5 hours). Not having any plans of where to stay we followed our new friend Alex to the hostel he had booked to see if there was any availability. This hostel we also found very warm and welcoming (Placencia Village). The host Pandora only had 1 dorm bed available but said we could pitch our tent. Taylor took the dorm bed and Brendan and I set up camp. It worked great and was in a nice location right on the beach. I was excited to be on the beach for a little longer before heading inland to the jungle.
