We spent the last 2 days at the resort just lounging. I didn’t miss a sunrise this week and it seemed as they kept getting more spectacular. I can’t help but to post more pictures because it was just so beautiful.
We made our meals and I have to say that I had the best baked potato of my life!
We bought these kind of potatoes at the store and they were amazing! It was the creamiest inside of a potato and even the skins were good. After baking potatoes with these I really feel like we are missing the mark using russet potatoes at home. These look similar to a yellow or Yukon Gold potato, but they are different. The soft and fluffy description on the bag is really true and I’ll have to check when we are home to see if we can buy these.
Brendan and I played more tennis and I spent a lot of time at the pool. We had absolutely perfect weather this whole week. I worked on this blog and did a lot of research on SE Asia and where we will go after Australia. Tomorrow we will keep heading North up the East Coast for the next 10 days until we return our rental car in Cairns on the 25th. We are looking forward to exploring more of the coast and the Great Barrier Reef! This has been a wonderful, relaxing week but tomorrow we will leave luxury and start being backpackers again 😊
