Today we took the car and drove to a different part of city called Bondi Beach. It was a cute little neighborhood on a very nice beach. Parking was hard to find and expensive. Most places had a 2-hour max time to park. We parked for a while and explored some. Brendan commented that the beach had the nicest sand he ever felt. It was very fine and dry and didn’t stick to our feet at all.

There is a coastal walk from Bondi Beach to a neighboring Coogee Beach. I really wanted to do the walk, but was feeling pretty weak from my cold, and there didn’t seem to be a good place to park in Bondi to be gone that long. I suggested that we drive to the other end of the walk at Coogee to see if the parking situation would be better.
After our time in Bondi we drove to Coogee and it was much easier to park and was FREE. Coogee was also a very nice beach and we took a little nap on the sand.

Afterwards, we walked just a little of the coastal walk between Coogee and Bondi but didn’t go too far because I wasn’t feeling up to it. We walked around town some and it was really cute with all kinds of restaurants and shops. We found a cheap hostel in Coogee and decided to stay for the night. We were able to park for free which was great, and the hostel had great ocean views with an outdoor balcony.

We went to the store and got some food to make dinner. Brendan was nice enough to cook while I rested, trying to shake off my cold. We had spaghetti and Caesar salad for dinner and watched the sunset over the water. I went to bed early hoping I would feel better tomorrow.
