Today we were up early to finish our packing and begin the next leg of our journey. We flew to Los Angeles for two days before we could fly to Australia with a one-day layover in Honolulu. Mom and Chris took us to the airport again and we were off.
My friend Co and his fiancé Joey picked us up from the airport in Los Angeles and took us to their place in Long Beach. Surprisingly we had never been to Long Beach before. It was really nice and Brendan, Co and I spent the afternoon around the beach and exploring different parts of the town.
Joey met us for drinks later and we had the best Brussel sprouts ever! After walking around awhile, we went back to Co’s apartment where we hung out and Joey made an epic cheese patter that we devoured. After so many days of Brendan hardly getting any sleep and being so busy during his time at home, it finally caught up to him and he passed out in the chair. Co and I had a nightcap at a neighborhood bar down the street before bed.
