We had our last breakfast with Bilma and Jorge, and said our thank you’s and goodbyes. We arranged for another shuttle to pick us up and take us to San Pedro on lake Atitlan where we are going to spend our last few days in Guatemala. Our next stop is Panama where we will meet friends from the US. We were not sure if the timing would work out for us to go to the lake. We had heard from everyone that Lake Atitlan is not to be missed so we opted out of staying a few nights in Panama City and headed to San Pedro for a few days. We had an uneventful shuttle ride thankfully, and arrived in San Pedro early afternoon. Lake Atitlan is HUGE and is a very cute little town.

Lots of shops with cute clothes and jewelry. Definitely a little more touristy than Xela for example, but very cute nonetheless. We checked into our hostel, Zoola, where the 3 of us have a private room with a shared bathroom. This hostel also has a pool and is right on the lake which is very pretty and surrounded by mountains.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing around the pool and went out for a great dinner at restaurant called Sublime.
